Soft white packing paper, also known as “butcher’s paper” or “newspaper offcuts” without the print, is ideal for protecting china, porcelain, and glass. It is more suitable than newsprint or bubble wrap, as it can be scrunched up to provide padding at the base of boxes before filling. This paper can also fill gaps at the sides and top of a box, maintaining rigidity during stacking.

Glassware can be pre-wrapped in this soft paper before placing it in a glass segmented box. Upon unwrapping, the items remain clean and free from rubs or abrasions.
